DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN MARRAKECH

Pick up the whole group at the airport and transfer to the riad. Enjoy a guided tour of the historical and cultural heritage in Medina of Marrakech and instruction about features of shooting in Morocco. In the evening the mine square Jamaa al Fna full for photo shooting. The Jemaa el-Fnaa is one of the best-known squares in Africa and is the centre of city activity and trade. Snake charmers, acrobats, magicians, mystics, musicians, monkey trainers, herb sellers, story-tellers and dentists still populate the square. During the shooting of consultations with the teacher. DAY 2: MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA

We will continue to the Essaouira. Formerly a Portuguese stronghold in the 18th century and now a fishing village, the city of Essaouira, with its stone ramparts and mass of whitewashed houses, with stunning opportunities for street photography. Photo strolling through the serene squares, portraiture of the local people, browse artisan shops and galleries, and shot old fortress of Essaouira near sea. During the filming of consultations and individual theoretical, practical training with the teacher. Free time to view and selection photos for night discussion.

DAY 3:  ESSAOUIRA AGADIR – TIZNIT – LEGZIRA

We travel the photo trip south. At lunchtime we arrive the city of Agadir and will shooting shot of the fantastic long sandy beach at the Atlantic Coast. Next we will go via the village of Tiznit, the center of silver and silver handicraft in Morocco. Then passing Mirlift and Legzira.  Legzira is famous for sunsets punctuated by the rock structures jutting out from the cliffs. They were formed over thousands of years by erosion. DAY 4: LEGZIRA – TAFRAOUT

We go to the Anti-Atlas, where we will shoting Tafraout, region of Argan oil and the production of Babouche. Tafraout is also famous for the blue painted rocks make by a Belgian artist in the 60’s, where we will create art photos. We will use colors and forms of stones for create intresting compositions in photoshoot. During the filming of consultations and individual theoretical, practical training with the teacher. Free time to view and selection photos.

DAY 5:  TAFRAOUT – TAROUDANT

We will travel to Taroudant, a nice and encircled town with red ocher. With the little-explored western High Atlas, the Anti Atlas and the coast all nearby, the town makes a good base for photo trekking. Photo shooting in Medina capturing ordinary, everyday life in public spaces and life of people. This town is also a fantastic paradise for shopper’s looking for unique silver items. The market place in Taroudant also contains a tannery, where we will shoot intresting street photography. During the filming of consultations and individual theoretical with the teacher. Free time to view and selection photos.

DAY 6: TAROUDANT – MARRAKECH

We go via the mountain pass Tizi n´Test (2.260 m) in the High Atlas. We are then visiting and shooting the ruin of a Berber Mosque, Tin Mal, tucked away in the vast North African mountain range Then we are passing Asni and the olive area Tahannaout before arriving Marrakech. The afternoon is free time for photo shooting in red city and selection photos for the final night discussion about photo tour.

DAY 7: ARRIVE TO THE AIRPORT

  • Cameras, lenses and filters, according to the preferences and habits of photographers. Desirable neutral gray and polarizing filters.

  • Spare power supplies for cameras and other devices.

  • Tools for archiving, viewing and editing photos and videos. We recommend to take a laptop, an external disk drive to it and a card reader, or consider another convenient way to archive footage.
  • Bags to store photographic equipment during transportation and during shooting.
