A 7 day private tour to discover the Berber tribes from the High Atlas to the Middle Atlas Mountains, leaving from Marrakech and visiting waterfalls and kasbahs.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL – MARRAKECH

We will collect you and your family at the airport and transfer you to the riad to rest and begin our adventure. Enjoy your first experiences in the red city and explore the big square, Jemaa el-Fna in the old Medina with its souks and mythical streets. At night the square is full of ancient magic, aromas, colour, music, a treat for the senses. Accommodation just minutes from the square.

DAY 2: MARRAKECH – OUZOUD WATERFALLS

We will pick you up at your hotel and leave the city in the direction of Ouzoud, crossing the Berber villages with their olives trees. Ouzoud waterfalls are located in the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Ouzoud falls in three cascades from a height of 110 meters. This is one of the highest waterfalls in North Africa; its beauty attracts thousands of tourists every year. Among the many waterfalls, there are different ways to view the flow of water from the top down and visa versa; it is truly an unforgettable sight. The name “Ouzoud” translates from Berber language as “olive trees.” It is these trees that dot the slopes of the waterfall and down. At the top there are still several water mills, as well as a couple of small enterprises for the production of olive oil. Tourists, make the long trip to Ouzoud at sunset to await a wonderful sight, also a lot of monkeys come to the waterfall at the watering hole. Accommodation in hotel.

DAY 4: IMILCHIL – TODRA GORGES

Our direction is Todra Gorge, one of the most beautiful and spectacular places in Morocco. This gorge is very popular among the French climbers. For lovers of scrambling through the mountains, they have laid a lot of different tracks for every taste and skill level. If you are not a fan of climbing, you can go on footpaths and enjoy the fantastic and interesting views. At the bottom of the gorge runs a creek with crystal clear water, which adds to the feeling that you are on another planet. In the vicinity of the gorge are scattered many different fortresses, and the locals are happy to tell some interesting stories about each of them. We will arrive in the afternoon. DAY 3: OUZOUD – IMILCHIL

We will continue via Imilchil, a small town in central Morocco, in the Atlas Mountains with a population of about 1858. It is located at an elevation of 2119 m in the valley of Assif Melloul (“white river”). The area of Imilchil is home to the Ait Hdiddou tribe, belonging to the Ait Yafelman confederation, and the inhabitants speak Central Atlas Tamazight. Some locations to visit are the caves of Akhiam, the Agouni waterfalls, the Ziz Gorges and Valley and the ksars of the area. Accommodationin hotel.

DAY 5: TODRA GORGES – VALLEY OF ROSES – OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU

After Todra Gorges we will cross the valley of Roses, oasis of Skoura and Ouarzazate the city of movies where we will have a stop to visit the movie studios. We continue to Ait Benhaddou village located in the eastern part of Ouarzazate, which is not far from the ancient fortress of Taourirt. Aït Benhaddou Ksar is one of the most visited, photographed and filmed villages in Morocco. In addition, several directors have chosen this place for their cinematic works. Famous movie “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Jewel of the Nile” and “Gladiator” turned this place into one of the most famous film sets in the world. Accommodation in hptel.

DAY 6: AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH

We will go directly to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas mountain pass at Tizi n’Tichka 2160m, arriving at the red city in the afternoon where you will have free time for some more exploring and shopping.

DAY 7: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

We transfer you to the airport for your scheduled flights. End of our service.
