DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN MARRAKECH

Meeting at the airport, transfer to hotel. Hotel Accommodation Riad – an authentic Moroccan house with a traditional interior and access to the roof, located a few minutes from the main square. Free time to visit the Medina of Marrakech, Moroccan bazaars and the central square with the largest mosque Koutoubia. Bed and breakfast.

DAY 2: MARRAKECH – TIZI N´TICHKA – ZAGORA

Depart with 4×4 from your hotel in Marrakech at 9 am. Passing the stunning Tizi n´Tichka, the highest mountain pass in Morocco, with spectacular panoramic scenery -mountains, valleys and an ever-changing landscape. There are views of the mountains, valleys, and you are passing Berber villages on your way. On the way we will visit the magnificent Kasbah Ait Benhaddou a UNESCO World heritage site and one of the best preserved and most spectacular kasbahs in Morocco. A famous site for Hollywood films. The trip continues via Ouarzazate and further through the beautiful Draa Valley lined with palms and Berber villages. Dinner and sleep in hotel in Zagora.

DAY 3: THE PARIS – DAKAR – ROUTE – MARRAKECH

After breakfast the trip continues crossing the desert via the old Paris Dakar route and the dry Lake Iriqi to Foum Zguid. Continue via the village of Tazenackt before heading back to Marrakech. We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.

DAY 4: ZAGORA – THE NOMAD VILLAGE M’HAMID -ERG CHEGAGA

After breakfast we continue to the gate of Sahara, the nomad village M’hamid. On the way we will stop at the pottery and old Kasbah in Tamegrout before arriving in M’hamid at lunchtime. We continue into the desert with 4×4 crossing hammada, dunes and oasis before ending at Erg Chegaga, the high dunes. Chegaga is the largest group of dunes in the region reaching a height of 300 m. Camel trekking, and sunset trip before dinner – local song and music and sleep in nomad tents in a bivouac.
