Family trip Morocco via waterfalls 8 days • 7 nights

On this private family trip you will explore the enigmatic world of the South of Morocco: the amazing waterfalls of Ouzoud, the ancient Berber villages, the Atlas Mountains and the Erg Shebbi desert.

DAY 1: MARRAKECH

Transfer from airport to yours riad / hotel. Free time. After we will visit the square of Djemaa el-Fna and the famous Moroccan market, one of the main cultural spaces of Marrakech. Accommodation in riad of Medina.

DAY 2: MARRAKECH – WATERFALLS OUZOUD – VILLAGE IMILCHIL

We will travel via the Atlas mountains with diverse terrain, Berber villages and riven with ravines. Aftere we will go Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, where is located waterfall Ouzoud. Ouzoud is one “natural wonders” of Morocco. After lunch, we will travel to Berber village Imilchil. The town of Imilchil represents a symbol of Berber culture, known for its marriage festival. Accommodation in hotel.

DAY: 3: IMILCHIL – AMILLAGO – MERZOUGA

Travel along the road of the High Atlas, where you will see traditional houses in the villages of Agudal and Assul. After we will visit the Amillaglo gorges. Then we will go to the city of Goulmima and travel to small town Denny, where we will see more palm trees. Arrival in Merzouga is a small Moroccan town in the Sahara Desert and gateway to Erg Chebbi dunes. Spend night in Riad.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA

We will start a tour of Merzouga, where we will visit to nomadic settlements, gnawa music in village Khamliya and oasis of desert. Next we will return to the hotel and in the afternoon we will ride by camel to the heart of the Sahara desert. Accommodation in the desert bivouac under amazing sky with millions stars.

DAY 5: DUNES ERG CHEBBI – RISSANI – TODRHA – DADES

We leave the Merzouga and move via the small cities of Rissani and Denny, where we will meet amazing landscapes, as well as a place for the extraction of ancient fossils. Arrival in the Todrha Gorge. This gorge is a very popular place for among climbers. Spend night in hotel.

DAY 6: DADES – AIT BENHADDOU- TIZI-N-TICHKA – MARRAKECH

We are heading to Ouarzazate city throught the road “1000 Kasbahs”. Visiting the famous Ksar Ait Benhaddou. The Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is located in river and also used as a playground for shooting Hollywood movies. Further we move to Marrakech through the pass Tizi-n-Tichka. Accommodation in Riad.

DAY 7: MARRAKECH

Visiting the cultural places of the Red city: the old Medina and market near Jemaa el Fna, the famous historical monuments – Menara and Majorelle Gardens, the Palaces of Bahia and El Badia, the tombs of Saadi. Accommodation in Riad.
